President's Message - June 2005
The warm weather has arrived, and it is time to clean the golf clubs. Our annual golf tournament, again a sell-out, is expected to be another well-organized event under the leadership of chair Norm McGlashan and the entire golf committee. It is the final event of the year and an opportunity to raise money for The Arthritis Society. Thank you to all the participants and your contributions to the charity.

I would like to congratulate the Kitchener-Waterloo Chapter for hosting a very successful Out-of-Town Meeting. There was great attendance by members from around the province, a large trade show, very informative seminars and a great opportunity to network for all. Thank you for the hospitality.

Elections for executive positions around the province have concluded, and I thank all those who put their name forward. Your commitment and dedication to the association is greatly appreciated.

As my term as president comes to an end, I extend my sincerest appreciation to the entire executive for their countless hours of work, their dedication and their support, and give special thanks to our business manager, Jackie Johnston-Schnurr. Credit for the success of the past year lies solely with these hard workers. Thanks again!

Looking forward, the OIAA will be celebrating a momentous occasion, its 75th anniversary, under the leadership of Steve Martin. This great chievement affirms the importance of this association to the membership. Watch for upcoming details on events recognizing this achievement.
