With anticipation of Spring around the corner, we look forward to the “spring thaw”. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long for it to arrive this year. I am happy to report that we had a very successful Claims 2005 Conference in February. The event was well attended and many of the membership took advantage of the educational seminars presented during the day. Again, any and all feedback is welcomed so that we can continue to bring you the best conference possible. Thank you to those members who attended and participated in this year’s events. A full report and feature is found in the centre of this magazine.
In March, we are having our Fourth Annual Curling Bonspiel. This event is becoming very popular. For those interested, the registration can be found on page 42. Submit quickly as space is limited.
Also in March, we have the opportunity to review all submissions for the annual Bursary awarded to entrants from around the Province. It is an experience that has made us appreciate and realize the efforts of our membership who continue to dedicate themselves to enhancing their careers. The winners of the bursaries shall be published in our April Magazine. Each winner shall receive $500.00 award for their educational efforts.
We look forward to welcoming you to the April meeting which will incorporate a seminar with regards to the proposed Automobile Legislative changes and following this, we shall host the Past Presidents and Honourary Members Night. Full details can be found on Page 43. We hope that you can join us for this event. This will also be the evening of our Toronto Delegate Elections. We encourage any individual interested in participating on the executive, to contact Frank Castaldo to submit their name. I can tell you it is a rewarding experience.
