Life is its own journey, presupposes its own change and movement, and one tries to arrest them at one’s eternal peril.

Whoa, has time gone by. We are already into the month of May. We have not only had our election for the executive position of Secretary but we have also elected two Toronto Delegates. May is also the month that each chapter has its elections. I have said enough over the last eight months about getting involved.
My presidential duties this past month have brought me to the Thousand Island Chapter. I would like to thank Lori Quibell, Chapter Delegate, and the rest of the executive for the informative meeting.
At the end of May, the annual Out-Of-Town meeting will be held in Sudbury. I know that Northern Ontario Chapter Delegate, Bob Carscadden, and the rest of the executive have worked long and hard to make this a one-of-a-kind experience. I will see everyone at the end of May in Sudbury.
The month of June hosts our annual Golf Tournament. As usual, we host the event at Rolling Hills Golf Club with four courses offering different challenges. This event is usually sold out very quickly with over 500 people in attendance. With that many golfers, sponsorship to organize, benevolent prizes donated and hoping for a beautiful warm, sunny day; the committee will have their hands full. I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Kim Cameron, Tournament Director, and her committee, Norman McGlashan and Mike Cowan for their efforts in preparing for this huge event.
I would like to introduce your new Secretary for the 2003-2004 executive slate. Alan Gallagher; Ottawa Valley, was elected to the Senior Executive. Alan has been with us for several years and eagerly awaits his new challenges as Secretary. Join me in congratulating Alan.
As well, on April 9, 2003, we accepted our two open positions for Toronto Delegate. Joining Norman McGlashan and Pat VanBakel, is incumbent: Kim Cameron and Brett Colville. These individuals have made the commitment to represent you and work as your delegate for the next two-year period. Any thoughts or suggestions with new ideas, please contact them directly.
I look forward to seeing all of you at the Sudbury Out-of-Town Meeting!
