President's Message - February 2006
Last month we held our Trade Show, and it was a success. This show continues to be the industry leader and is the largest one-day claims event in Canada.
We had Mr. George Cooke speak at our luncheon; he is very well-spoken and provided us with his insight into the future of our industry. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lee-Ann Vansteenkiste and her committee for an excellent show and look forward to next year¹s event.
Next month we will be holding our Funspiel in Brampton. This is our fifth year, and it has always been a fun event to participate in. We are at that time of year where winter is almost over and we are anxious for spring to arrive.
In April we are holding our election night for a new Toronto Delegate. Our guest speaker for the evening will be Wendy Mesley, host of CBC¹s Marketplace. Please look at page 40 for more information.
Before we know it June will be around the corner. I encourage everyone to try and attend the Out-of-Town meeting in Thunder Bay. Please show your support for this chapter.
I hope everyone gets something from their special Valentine, and I will talk to you again in March.
