President's Message - February 2012 Thank you to all of the members, partners, sponsors, presenters and volunteers who made our 2012 Claims Conference outstanding. As we progress through the winter months, your Provincial Executive will be working hard to plan and present some very high-quality events in the near future. In March, our annual Curling Bonspiel in Brampton is always a popular event to connect with your peers and enjoy a little sport at the same time. Looking forward to May, have you planned on attending our Provincial Conference, hosted this year by the London Chapter? They have planned a new and revised approach with an innovative delivery of some very high-quality education in a new format that is very exciting. Please check out their event; I am positive that you will see great value for your personal and professional development. Volunteers are the heart of the OIAA. Untold hours of effort and expertise are provided by your Provincial Executive and local Chapter Executives, and it is truly rewarding to have the opportunity to serve and feel part of the team. As spring approaches, have you thought about getting involved in the Association? On a personal note, as February draws to a conclusion, we hope to see winter start to release its grip, with the days getting longer and only eight weeks until the boats return to the water for another season of sailing, adventures and camaraderie on the water.
